Back away from the chocolate donuts, Cassandra!

That’s what I told myself as stressful circumstances, stressed, er, stretched me to the point I wanted to stress my way to some chocolate donut eating old ways.

I’m currently getting my act right to act right. I have done more comfort eating then I care to admit.

Last week, I got back to getting up early and preparing breakfast.

Good habits take over when we give them room to. At first, it was tough getting up early again.

I used to get up two hours early. I had to. I liked to arrive to work an hour early. I enjoyed a bit of chillaxing before getting into the work day.

Since working from home, I eventually allowed lazy into talking me out of my one hour chillaxing time.

Wonder of wonders, this led to a bit of the grumps as I gave myself more sleep and less me time. Which just made me tired and grumpy.

I had forgotten how much fun it is to slurp endlessly on ☕ coffee and yakking with God until it’s time to be about being about it.

So much so, beloveds, I have found myself doing so on my days off. I have popped out of bed, even earlier!

Today is my day off. Yet, I beat the sun up this morning. What shall I do with this day?

I hear a good nap calling.🥰🤗😂

Me: Tell The Universe to kick some of the rocks He made.😡

Me: What good will THAT do me?! It’s 100 degrees outside and hotter than that in here?

God: Ask Life.

Me: Why in thhhhhhhhheeeee hell are You 🍳 frying my brain this way?! Why do I need to make ice!!?…*stamps foot*🤯😵‍💫🥵😭😡

Life: Great question! Keep asking. In the meantime…make ❄ ice.

It’s Spring. Again. Wow! It’s amazing how fast time flies.

Just last year I gasped my way through the Spring and Summer. Whew! It had never been so hot for such an extended period of time.

I didn’t think I could survive it. God taught me how to live AND thrive within it! Who knew? God did.

Life often tosses us in challenges we have no idea we can or will survive in. God knows. Trust. Believe. Make ice!

I have learned so much during these last tough years. I wish I had mom to call up and tell her all the ridiculous and wonderful lessons I have been forced to endure and thrive in!

Ah, mom. I’m still here. I’m still trying. It’s still 🔥 hot!

Ah, God. Why do You keep taking me through this hard way? It’s hot. I’m tired. Whew!

Keep making ice, beloveds. The Universe will teach you endless ways to make ❄ ice. You shall learn new ways to do this and that. Your faith will expand. Your lungs will burst from 😂 laughter.

Breathe.

I am getting training from the training which was just not enough training!

Geeeezzzzz!

Friday, I was ready to cry. I felt soooooooooooo stupid!

At 55, my brain wants to know what in the name of all that is holy is it being forced to stretch this way?!!!!

I told myself to take a breath.

Breathe, I said!

I took a breath.

I felt better.

Okay, I didn’t feel better. But, I didn’t quit either. There is that.

It will get easier. As I learn. As I work. As I ALLOW myself to stay in this uncomfortable place and space.

Too many folk walk away from the uncomfortable places and spaces. They don’t understand their miracles and dreams are living in those uncomfortable places and spaces.

It takes a ton of prayer, try, faith, laughter, resilience and a billion other things to remain in the uncomfortable places and spaces.

Hang in there, beloveds. Breathe! Then, remain in the uncomfortable places and spaces until you learn and grow your way out of them.

Let’s go! We got thangs to do.

Tell lazy to get to stepping!

I did NOT want to get up early.

No way. No how. Not this sista! Ha!

I made myself get up 45 minutes earlier than the early I was getting up for.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Now, I am happily eyeing the scrambled eggs and golden tater rounds just teasing me to hurry on up.

It’s important, beloveds, to tell lazy to get to stepping when lazy wants to keep you lazy.

Keep on being good to YOU and your dreams. No one else will take you seriously if even YOU won’t and don’t.

I used to read Britta’s daily blog with such admiration and would feel sooooooooooooo badly as I could not see how the world she manages to post EVERY day. I wanted to. I told myself I would. I didn’t.

One day, after reading her daily, I determined I was, at the very least, going to TRY. Just, try.

One day, turned into two. Two days, turned into three. Until, I honestly can’t remember the last day I did NOT write. Who knew?!

Keep at it, beloveds. Whatever your goal is. Don’t give a thought about the results. The results will be whatever they turn out to be.

I am learning, I have learned, embracing and dealing with the outcome, without anger/disappointment/discouragement has slowly been turning the tide.

I don’t know what the rest of my life has in store for me. I don’t know how many days I have left. That said, I KNOW I shall spend the rest of my days giving my try the best try I can. Results be what they shall be.

Huh? Oh, okay!

After a while, without an end, without resolution, without fulfillment…*sigh*

After a while, it begins to wear on the soul.

The Bible says for us to NOT be weary, in well doing. As we SHALL reap if we faint not. I’m too weary to remember where this is found in the bible(kidding Galatians 6:9).

My try is awfully tired. I just want to wake up and live in my fulfilled dreams. The way I imagine they will be.

I was laying in bed, pondering, wondering what the world would even LOOK like fulfilled.

Don’t get me wrong. I love life. I love yakking incessantly with God, with Life, with The Universe, and with you.

I love working. I love telling jokes and making folks laugh.

I love watching my sports. I love wandering through my eclectic mismadge of YouTube channels.

I love sooooooooooooooooooooo many things.

Yet, there has been a dream which has been calling me for the entirety of my life. I feel I may fail it/them. I fear I may I let them down.

I beat myself up for not having born them into fruition.

I no longer know if I am chasing my dreams or if they are now chasing me?

Am I afraid of them? Is this why they have not come?

Ah, God.

Why do Yall keep bothering me?

Asking for many friends.

How is your ❤️‍🩹 heart, beloveds?

If your heart is anything like mine, I feel your pain!

Be encouraged.

Keep going.

Don’t give up.

Not just yet.

I know you are tired. I know you want to be there already! So do I. The fact that we are not there yet IS an answer.

We are EXACTLY where we are supposed to be. The Universe has already calculated our dumbness, our foolishness, our fear, our doubt, our apathy, our disappointment, our try or lack thereof all into the equation.

Nothing wrong with that. It’s just important to know what you are doing your why for. So you are not disappointed with the results.

Why are you trying?

For Him?

It’s important to know, to understand WHY you are doing what you are doing.

Why?

Otherwise, you will lead a life of quiet frustration. Vaguely annoyed/angry/dismayed as life appears to be swaying you this way and that.

Knowing your why helps keeps you centered and focused. It also helps keep you from living your life in a victim-like state.

Too often, folk allow themselves to be swayed by other people’s views and desires.

Life is short, beloveds. It’s time, don’t you think, for folk to…THINK!! 🤔
