Keep trying.

Keep trying. Keep striving. Keep moving forward.

This is what I have been telling myself. I have messed up more than I have gotten right this week. For the life of me, I just cannot figure out how to use this stupid Canva! The names I have called my laptop are not suitable for the young or impressionable.

The Heatwave won’t end. We’ve been having bad storms all night. I’m not sure which way to turn. I still choose to move. Forward. Onward. Looking up. Looking forward to what comes next.

Keep trying.

You have NO idea what amazing things you are digging up!…lol. We got this. We really do. The discouragement you feel is nothing but a sign the best is yet to come.

I give up.

I give up. I want to quit. I can’t quit, so I’m giving up instead. There is a difference.

I’m giving up my need to control things. I’m giving up perfection. I’m giving up on unrealistic expectations.

Install, I’m simply going to try. I’m going to see what happens. I’m going to accept the results of my try.

I give up. I guess up trying to be all things to all people. I can’t be everything. I can’t be everywhere. I can’t do everything. I will try my best and let that be enough. My efforts will speak for me. Loudly. Unapologetically. Lovingly.

I give up. I give up wanting to always be right. I don’t always get things right. I try to. The more I live, the more I understand. I really don’t understand half of the things I thought I understood.

I give up. I surrender. I acknowledge my reach may exceed my grasp. I’m trying to learn to live with it.

I give up. I am not strong. I don’t have to be. Not anymore. Neither do you. Things truly will work out in the wash. The rest we will deal with.

I don’t know how to do the simplest things in Canada. It is frustrating. I don’t know how to save files. I don’t know how to maneuver within the software. It feels like a metaphor for my life right now. I just don’t know what to do. Or how to do it. Or who to reach out to. Or if I even should.

I’ll try to leave each piece with a bit of encouragement. Some days it really is hard to do so. I feel like a failure today. I gave my all and got nothing back today. I will try again tomorrow. I’m trying not to focus on what comes back to me. I’m trying to focus on what I can give out. There are days when I just want to quit. I can’t quit. So I give up…

What are you doing?

What are you doing?

What are you doing to change your life?

What are you doing to improve your situation?

Life keeps asking me this question. The universe keeps asking me this question. God keeps asking me this question. I’m trying my best to do something. I’m trying my best to be something. I’m trying to do things that matter. I’m trying to let people know that they matter.

I have tried so hard for others, I’m not sure how to try for myself. Not really. It feels as if my try would never bear fruit. Not really. it seems as if I will never get anywhere.

What are you doing? I asked myself this question every day now. I’m tired of asking questions. I’m ready to move on and live out my dreams in real time. I’m trying to teach myself how. It has been frustrating.

The time grows short.

What are you doing? Who are you doing it for? Is it for you? Is it for someone else? Is it for recognition?

I don’t feel like writing tonight. I don’t feel like encouraging tonight. I’m not feeling very encouraged tonight. I’m trying to do whether I feel like it or not. I’m trying to encourage what I feel like it or not. I’m trying to present my best sales, whether I feel like it or not,

I have spent too many years going for others and not enough time doing for myself. It’s time I put that effort into myself writing wise and career wise. This morning, I made my first attempt at creating a motivational video. It was quite amateurish. I loved it. I’m trying not to despise small beginnings as the bible says.

Things take time. I’m trying to give myself time to learn and to grow. I want the time to hurry. 55 is laughing at me. She says, we are running out of time. Is she right? I am uncertain. Defeat seems inevitable.

You already know what I’m going to say here now, beloveds: Be encouraged. Keep trying. Your try matters. You matter.

Note: It’s been a frustrating day trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. I normally enjoy learning. not right now. Learning is tied to trying to make money now. I need money now. I’m trying to make the need of money, not the reason for my try. Frustrating.

I wish I could talk to my mom. I wish I could hear her tell me that everything really will be alright. I wish for so many things. I wish successful your life. I pray that your dreams be fulfilled soon. I pray comfort for those who need comfort. I asked for a special blessings for your life and for those that you care about. I’m asking for friends for those who are alone. A place for healing for those who are sick. I pray great for those who are ready to give up. I sometimes find myself in several of those categories.

Enjoy the rest of your day. Been about the distractions and frustrations to take away the fact that you are doing the best that you know how. Be proud of your try. Be proud of you.

OOOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!

No one wants to be honest and tell you what to DO in the middle of a hissy fit when you are a faithful, faith-filled, bible-thumping Christian when you are TIRED OF MAKING LEMONADE, TAKING THE HIGH ROAD AND WAITING ON GOD WHO IS APPARENTLY DOING SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN MEETING YOUR PIDDLY LITTLE NEEDS ALREADY!!

Whew. Somedays, the days are just enough to work the last nerves. The sheer sameness of the hard days are enough to make a sista sweat. Whew.

I know. I know. A cup of ☕ coffee will help soothe nerves frayed from 🛠 hammers, high 🔥 heat and high bills that can’t be paid.

I’m angry at upcoming bills I can’t pay. I know. I know. It does NO good borrowing tomorrow’s troubles. Tell that to my empty bank account.

I can’t do a thing about my account, at the moment. At THIS moment, I CAN do something, perchance, about filling someone’s empty tank with a bit of encouragement. I shall start with me:

We got this. We SHALL get through this. We shall enjoy our day. Yes, we are sick and tired of being sick and tired of enduring the sameness of a day that keeps on bringing things and news we do NOT need.

That said, we have all we need to do this day. We have, at our choosing:

Joy.

Peace.

Hope.

Resolve.

Resilience.

Laughter.

Compassion.

Understanding.

Fortitude.

Love.

We have access to all those things, and more, as we CHOOSE. I choose joy. I think I shall add a bit of laughter, a cup of coffee and go fuss at, er, talk to God about all my anxt. He has nothing better to do than to listen to my rant. He knows the drill. He understands. It’s a good thing as I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT THE WORLD IS TAKING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG ALREADY!!

Be encouraged, beloveds. Life is good. Even when it gets hard. I find myself smiling, in anticipation, whilst thinking of a nice cup of coffee. I think I will go yak at mom for a bit. I miss mom at these times. I wish I could call her and rant, cry and carry on and here her tell me that everything really will be okay, Cassandra.

She can’t tell me. I can tell you:

Everything WILL be okay. You are loved. You are NOT alone. Ah, beloveds, hang in there. As shall I. This too really shall pass. When I can not say. In the meantime, it’s okay to pelt a few lemons at The Universe and tell Life ‘ow!!!’.
