Those and many thoughts crossed my mind upon receiving hard news on top of the hard day!

Okay, really, Universe?

Okay, REALLY, God?

Okkkkaaaaaaaay, reallllllllly, Life?

So what?!

Ha!

Life is short, beloveds. Keep it moving. Despite, in spite, because of, who cares how, who cares why.

Note: Training was/is ten times harder than first imagined or thunk. So what? Train I shall. When the ow hurts, a bit too much, say ow, so what and keep it moving. We got thangs to do. Don’t allow your try to head to the nearest exit and comfort spot when hard is especially hard.

Keep going. Why? Why not?

Hard: Start BEFORE you start.

When going through something hard, it’s imperative to start BEFORE you start.

Start:

Your day, on the right foot/note. I told myself I would NOT allow anything to wreck my mood.

Your mind, in the right direction. I told myself:

I can.

I will.

I’ll try.

I will/may fail.

So what?!

Your body, on the right track. I had breakfast. I hydrated. I yakked with God and commiserated with The Universe. I listened to uplifting music.

Having started BEFORE I started found my day absolutely amazing. It flew past. I laughed. I messed up. So what?

Ah.

Aha!

Keep doing the hard thing. You are only making diamonds, in your 👟 shoe, as you walk up Joy Mountain. Get on up there, beloveds. We got thangs to do!

My life changed the day I decided to fight for me.

I work. Hard. I take much pride in working hard. I give my all. To, my job. To, others. To, The Universe. To, Life. To, God. Now, to/for ME.

Sadly, I used to put me last, if at all. For work and all else, I didn’t care how much or how many times I was inconvenienced or came upon a road block. I did my level best to conquer all.

For me, though, for my dreams, I hate to say this but just as soon as a stiff breezed rolled in, I rolled out. I showed out. I lamented. I carried on about not being seen, heard, loved or valued. Then, I took my toys, and left. Left to continue to fight for everyone and everything, but me.

It was easier, you see. I could blame, them, not me, for my dreams not coming true. I could rail against the unfairness, of life. I could chew out God, for not getting things done or taking too long or this, that, the other thing. I could tell The Universe to kick rocks and pick on someone else.

One day, though, I was praying and talking to God about..*shrug*. I don’t remember. Anywho, I was jabbering on about nothingness, when God whispered “Tell The Universe what you want”. Such an ODD request, I thought. Especially, coming from God.

Yet, I did as asked. Scariest thing I have EVER done. I don’t know why, but asking The Universe, it opens up one’s inmost thoughts, hopes and dreams. Those terrifying dreams. Those dreams, so huge, we can barely think on them. They are just too darned big to imagine or believe WE could possibly bring them, into existence.

Yes, THOSE, God whispered for me to ask The Universe for. So, I tiptoed, to the edge of my deepest dreams/fears, swallowed hard, closed my eyes, jumped and landed…

Upon God’s Word. Ah. Aha! Without going all preachy, Jeremiah 29:11 says – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Meaning, God means good things, for our lives. We are the ones who spend our lives diminishing our value. We try and find value in people, places and things.

Anywho, I asked The Universe to help me make MY dreams, come true. An adventure, is being had, by all. Goodness and gravy, though, the way has been hard. I have been forced to fight. For, me.

Every day. EVERY day, Life shows up, shows out and asks me how badly I want my dreams to come true. Now, every day, EVERY day, I demand life give me my dreams and bounty!

GIVE THEM HERE!!

And, often, every day, disappointment has shown up, showed out, and popped me and my dreams upside the head. And, now, every day, EVERY day, I tell disappointment, I shall see it, tomorrow!

Beloveds, I may not reach the unreachable star. I promise you this: NOBODY will have had more fun, trying, than me!

Ah.

Aha!

Life is short. Live.

I choose not to care about the outcome. I choose not to expect the expected. I choose not to fear. I choose not to feel guilty about what I should or should not have done.

Yeah my life changed after I took it out.

Relieve yourself of the burden of others. Relieve yourself of your own burdens. Choose. Live with the outcome of your choices. Make your choices positive ones. I dare you. I dare me. I dare.

Fear has been loud lately.

I am in new training that is exposing all of my what in the fresh hell is this?!

I have been:

Lost.

Confused.

Frustrated.

Yet, these feelings are also exposing:

Laughter.

Resolve.

Joy.

I have been forced to whether I want to or not.

How delicious.

How awful.

How deliciously awful.

I don’t feel 55. I feel 25. Alive. Hopeful. Scared to death.

I told fear to shut up. I will NOT stop. I don’t care how hard these next steps are and shall continue to be.

Don’t be afraid to tell fear to shut up. Don’t be afraid to feel uncomfortable. Don’t be afraid to experience some darkness. Don’t be afraid to come into the light. Tell fear to take two seats.

Trust that you have all you need to succeed. Keep believing in yourself. The world will mock you. The world will tell you your gifts are a joke. The world will tell you nobody will want or need you. Tell the world to shut up.

I think I hear a cup of coffee calling. Join me if you like. Remember you are loved and not alone.

Real talk: Don’t photoshop your life.

I enjoy Tik Tok.

I enjoy Youtube.

I use Instagram but don’t understand it.

I find people fascinating.

I find it fascinating how so many people are trying to present. A world where everything is always rosy and wonderful and the scenery is Majestic. And everything is beautiful and all is right with the world.

When I make my instagram pieces, I keep it real. I am breathless because I am breathless. I fight with vertigo and admit to it. My apartment is not a castle, but it’s mine. It’s dated. The balcony was painted in a horrible shade of gray. The parking lot was… I don’t know what that was they called doing to the parking lot!

It’s MY parking lot. Just because my footsteps are not walking around a mansion does not mean my thoughts are not valuable. That my words can not have an impact.

Your life is just that. Yours. And that life is:

Valuable.

Wonderful.

Needed.

Necessary.

Loved.

Cherished.

Respected.

Don’t judge yourself by what you have or don’t have. By what you do or don’t do. By who is around you and who is not. Those things are irrelevant to the beauty called your life.

You are.

Simple as that.

Love yourself where you are now. Continue to work on yourself but no you are valuable just as you are.

We are all:

Works in progress.

Masterpieces.

Your life is being shaped by your choices or lack thereof. You are a force of nature. Be the force of nature that you are!

Your life is having an impact on this world. If it wasn’t, the world would not be trying so hard to convince you otherwise!

Keep loving the world. There are people in the world who needs your love. There are people who will love you back. In the meantime, keep going. We got thangs to do.

Don’t be afraid to show your heart.

My heart was hurting.

Someone I care for a great deal did not reach out to me on my birthday. I was hurt. I told myself I didn’t care. I did care. Very much.

I reached out and let them know I was hurt and embarrassed. Long story short, Life had been life.

It felt good sharing my heart. Okay it felt terrifying. I was afraid at first to be rejected. I wasn’t. Even if I had been it still was good for my heart.

Don’t be afraid to let folks know how you feel. They will never know. Folk get offended and will say the other person should already know how they feel.

We are not mine readers. It’s important that we share our hearts with one another. How else will the relationship grow?

Besides, don’t you want to know how the person really feels about you? The things they say may hurt but you can move forward, and so can they.

Stop wondering how people feel about you and start asking them. If you are important to them they will let you know. If not they will dismiss your feelings and you will know to keep going.

I’m not trying to tell you what to do. I’m just sharing what has helped me. It may help you. Life is short.

I hear that cup of coffee screaming my name now. I hate to disappoint a cup of coffee.

Take care of yourself. Be encouraged. You got this. Remember, your needs are important, as are your thoughts. Share them liberally.
