Your obstacles are not obstacles.

Your obstacles are not obstacles.

They are:

Opportunities to grow.

Chances to overcome.

Moments to improve.

Time to shine.

Greatness to live.

Wins waiting to happen.

Routes to strength.

Precursors to satisfaction.

Don’t fear the hard, beloveds.

Don’t grow too weary at the never ending obstacles.

Smile. They are the introduction to the greatest story ever told!

Stay in the race.

Endure.

Embrace.

Overcome.

Ah.

Aha!

overcoming with you,

Cassandra

Note: You can do this! You shall. Be encouraged.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being… YOU

LOL.

Until we are not nuts, let us continue pushing upwards, shall we beloveds?

LOL!

striving still and always,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: This has been a tough year. Yet, I grow. Tired, yet resilent. I fight on. As shall you, eh? Asking for A Friend. The world NEEDS our nuttiness! We got thangs to do, beloveds. Let’s be about being about them. Remember your WHY.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU!!!!!!!!!

Nuff said.

You are all of these things and more, beloveds.

So am I.

Sometimes, we just need to be reminded, don’t we?

Love someone today.

Starting with you.

This has been a long year hasn’t it’? Time for us to rest and get recharged to end the year on a fantastically fabulous note!

You have done your all. That IS enough. Let’s stop giving ourselves such a hard time about these dumb dreams that are being sooooooooooooo stubborn.

Let’s keep on being about being about it.

Let’s keep on doing thangs.

Let’s keep on living WITH intentions.

Let’s keep taking ownership and telling our feels to shut up and sit down somewhere.

Let’s keep telling apathy ha! and to kick rocks.

Let’s keep on loving and being faithful.

Let’s keep walking with authority and in our integrity.

Let’s keeping doing right simply because it IS right.

Let’s keep on laughing.

Let’s keep on rejoicing.

Let’s keep on living.

Let’s keep on being.

Let’s keep on embracing hard.

Let’s keep on happening to our lives.

Let’s keep on…

keeping on with you,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: I am gettin my pieces done. I am keeping my promises to me. Yes, it hurts when silence echoes through a room we wish filled with sound. Yes, it hurts when dreams tarry too long. Yes, it hurts when our try ends up in a heap of a whole lotta nothingness.

Yet, ah, ow and oh! Be encouraged.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

Because of them: Face your fear(s).

Face your fear(s).

Don’t get down on yourself, because of them.

Don’t berate yourself, because of them.

Don’t dismiss yourself, because of them.

Because of them, beloveds, you SHALL overcome and grow and thrive.

Because of them, beloveds, you will learn much about you and the world around you.

Because of them, beloveds, the diamond within, without and all around you, SHALL be revealed.

BECAUSE of them.

Be encouraged.

overcoming with you,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: I have been learning much. BECAUSE of my fears. I am asking myself a lot of whys. I am cutting myself a lot of slack. I am giving myself extra love. BECAUSE of my fears. I am talking about them, acknowledging them. I am giving them to God and sharing with Him how they make me feel.

I told myself, just today, in fact, I would NOT allow myself to give up on me because I was tired. Or, because I was afraid. Or, because I don’t know how to make my dreams come true. Ack!!

The more I try, and fail, the more I want to try. I am enjoying my days. Even the hard parts of it.

Keep going, beloveds. You will be okay. Sometimes, we just need someone to tell us everything will be okay.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU.

You are enough.

I just don’t feel enough today.

Why my pieces are late. I almost did not write today.

I write to keep my promise to myself. I’m doing my best to keep my promise to me.

I wonder today if my efforts will lead anywhere or be of any comfort. Doesn’t feel like it today.

Ah, beloveds, I soooooooooooo desperately want to allow my feels to run this day. I want to run from today.

I’m tired.

My try just does NOT feel as though it will EVER be enough.

Crap.

So, I wrote. Tired. I try. Tired. I’m tired of running away from the fact I am 55 and still chasing down my dreams.

Yet, I am enough.

I am.

Enough.

As are you.

You are enough.

YOU are enough.

You ARE enough.

You are ENOUGH.

YOU ARE ENOUGH!

Enough already, fear/doubt!

We have had enough of you!

believing in me,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Get excited, beloveds. Disappointment ONLY visits those who are worthy. Disappointment ONLY shows her face to those who simply REFUSE to give up. Be encouraged.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

♥ Heart check Friday.

It’s Friday.

It’s Fri-yay!

It’s about to be rest day.

Take the rest of this day to rest:

Your mind.

Wrest your mind from ALL that has been worrying you.

Wrest your heart from all that has been scaring you.

Wrest your spirit from all that has been fatiguing you.

You have done your best.

You have given your all.

Let this be enough.

Remember, you ARE enough!

Be encouraged.

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Rest.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

When life hands you lemons, try asking for some grapes.

Have you ever had one of those days, weeks, months, years where it seemed as if all your efforts have gone in vain? Have you ever wondered what in the world did you start this or do that, in the first place? Have you ever wanted to run away from home, tired of forever having […]

When life hands you lemons, try asking for some grapes.

Beloveds, sis told me I HAD to repost this piece I did two years ago. Here goes nothing…

Be encouraged.

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Enough with the lemons already…lol.

Finally!: God asked me if I was enough.

God: Are you enough?

Me: I don’t know.

God: ARE you enough?

Me: I think so.

God: Are YOU enough?

Me: I believe so.

God: Are you ENOUGH?

Me: I hope so.

God: You are enough.

Me: I know so.

God: How do you KNOW?

Me: Because You loved me first. You love me still. You loved me enough. I learned how to love me enough.

God: Ah.

Me: Aha!

more than enough,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Fighting through my fear was just an exercise in faith. Fear can NOT abide, stand or defeat faith. What does faith have to do with love and. KNOWING we are enough without having to be or do or have? Great question! You are getting closer. Keep asking.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

Fear: An old foe/friend came to visit.

I’m afraid.

Will admit this off top.

I have done my best to not get down on myself. Much.

I have allowed myself to FEEL this terribly terrifyingly mystifying fear.

For days. Until. Ah! Until had to show up.

Until:

I realized I was listening to a bunch of lies.

Why?

Because I was, I AM doubting ME. Not so much my circumstances but my ability to overcome them.

Ah.

I tell myself I am too old.

I tell myself it will never happen for me.

I tell myself your posse will never show up for you.

Today, I arose and told lies and fear to shut the hell up and to take the hell with them.

At that time, fear became my friend. A reminder that I CAN. That I WILL. That I am loved. That I am NOT alone!

Ha!

I choose.

Hhmm.

God and Life are super smart. They know fear will drive you to THE one thing it can never defeat or stand upon.

Huh? You haven’t figured out what THE 🗝 key is to defeating fear?

Your heart is screaming the answer, beloveds. I shall reveal tomorrow, maybe, if you come calling. It’s the one Aha! you really need to discover for yourself. It will mean more.

If your current circumstances have you doubting, down and afraid…*shrug*

It’s okay. That fear, that foe, will soon turn into your friend. It will cause you to fight for you and will teach you many lessons.

In the meantime, KNOW:

You CAN.

You WILL.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

Note: Be encouraged. We got this.

I told the boogeyman to shut up.

The boogeyman has been loud lately. Scaring me half to death about:

Bills.

My age.

Bills.

My age.

Bills.

Shut up!

*Cassandra tells fear to shut up and keeps it moving.*

keeping it moving,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Tell fear to kick 🥊 rocks. Keep going…

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.
