Like a big goof, I made the mistake of laying directly underneath the fan. I KNOW better. Smh.
Sure enough, beloveds, I woke with a nasty cold. Day shook it’s head at me and handed me a cough drop. My dreams said “I really hate that for you” and pointed me to my work chair.
Whatever state you find yourself in today, beloveds, make sure to get a laugh or two in there.
Do what you can. If a bit tired, go a bit more slowly.
Have a wonderful day.

Note: What a beautiful day. Enjoy the moments in it.
I was so focused on chasing down my dreams, beloveds, I forgot all about my fever.
I was too busy chasing down knowledge. I was too busy dreaming of touching a billion lives with MY words. I was too busy snatching my dreams into reality.
Focus on your dream, beloveds. All the noise around us is nothing but noise!
Don’t run from disappointment. Sit with it a while.
Listen to it.
Learn from it.
Be fueled by it.
Do NOT quit because of it.
Do NOT fold in the midst of it.
Disappointment is merely a future appointment with God/Life/The Universe.
Don’t cancel!
Wait.
Patiently.
In the meantime, try something else.
I can not tell you, beloveds, how badly I wanted to run back to the comfort zone. I didn’t care how painfully barren it was. I just wanted to STOP being on this razor’s edge of my uncertain present and my unknown future.
Because I thought I had failed, in one area, I wanted to give up in the main area I have always wanted to live and work in.
I chose uncertainty over the known. I chose anticipation over despondency. I chose ME over the dismissive masses.
Don’t run from disappointment, beloveds. Sit with it a while. It may surprise you. You may surprise yourself at your reaction(s)
Until they hear, keep talking. Until it works, keep trying.
Nuff said.

Note: I called about a new modem. The agent clearly did not understand. He blamed the weather. I told him the weather put out the modem. He blamed the apartment for losing power. I let him know everything else was working. He wasn’t trying to hear me. I thanked him for trying.
I called about a new modem. I explained the last agent didn’t understand. I said maybe I had not explained clearly. I explained. She understood. A new modem is on the way.
Communication is not always easy, beloveds. Still, we HAVE to give each other room to misunderstand, to miss communicating, to mess up. Then, we need to give each other some grace.
There will be days when we just don’t hear one another. That’s okay. Let’s make sure we continue to care about and for one another!
In case no one has told you today: I love you. So does He.
What do you do when the doors just won’t open for you?
You keep trying.
You keep asking.
You keep knocking.
Simple as that.
Be encouraged.

Note: I had to stop everything as my vertigo got bad enough to fell me like a giant oak. Smh.
In addition, I can’t do a lick with this Hotspot. I have to wait until I get a new modem delivered.
Annoying. I tried to make it do what it did. It didn’t.
Instead of giving in to despair, I chose to shift gears and work on some pieces. I can do SOMETHING.
Remember, beloveds, there is always SOMETHING we can do. No, things may not be ideal. We are still here.
Do what you can. Enjoy your day. Laugh at your frustrations. You may as well use them for your good!
I must admit this sustained hard, with my vertigo, has been terribly hard the past week or so. I want to do things that I can’t. I want to go places I can’t. I want….ack! I am stuck, in bed, waiting for the barometric pressure to calm down enough to stop squeezing the atmosphere.
When life gets to squeezing you, beloveds, take heart. It’s not personal. Life is just lifing. What you perceive as your fault is simply the atmosphere around you being affected by things you can’t see.
Keep going. Enjoy your life. Even with the world spinning on it’s axis…lol. We got this.
