How come no one ever told me that my mouth would snatch from me the ability to sing badly and lustily. All I can do  now is conjure up a shaky, crooked sounding squeal.

Ah, beloveds, I don’t begrudge you your ability to do these things.  I’m just hoping to encourage/exhort/admonish you to do things while you still can.

Don’t feel sorry for me. I’m so very thankful to be alive. Yea, tho I take exceptionally hard with me EVERYWHERE I go, I go with a song, on my tongue, from my crooked lips straight to God’s Ears!

Us: We don’t have time for the sunrise. Shoot, we barely have time, for the moments, let alone the sunset that will soon interrupt our way.

God: Speaking of sunset, I waited for you there. I was longing to hear about your day. I missed you.

Us: We had no time for chitchat. We barely have time for bedtime preparations!

God: Speaking of bedtime, I couldn’t wait to tell you goodnight.

So, I have good news and WTH news…

So, I have good news and WTH news…

Would you believe I am back at the hospital. I may have had another stroke. I am about to go have an MRI.

SHHHHHHEEEEOOOOT!

Pray for a sista.

Wow, just had my six months Anniversary of the stroke Tuesday.  Fresh hell. This is  NOT funny, Lord.

I’m not freaking out. If I did have a second stroke, I shall keep it pushing. I eat hard for  breakfast.

Be not afraid, beloveds, as God has me, you, and all the hardheaded folk so we are all covered.

I went in search of my humor.

I went in search my humor. I found her underneath a bushel of pain. I replaced pain with joy. Then, added ten bushels, of joy. On top of joy, I added a billion dollops,  of thanksgivings. To top things off, I added a lifetime of Jesus’s love.

NOTHING has  been funny the last few weeks. I keep telling myself that I am NOT alone. I remember that my steps are ordered. I am protected. I got this.  So do you.

Being a piece of watermelon cracks me up. Being a sista, I can’t tell you how many times, over the years, I have been referenced by chicken and watermelon. I don’t take offense. I say extra prayers for the folk who don’t care for someone who looks like me. I say this purposefully to make even angry folks smile. They need love the most.

Let’s endeavour to love one another. Be encouraged. 🤗❤🥰😁🙏

I’m so very thankful and grateful to be alive. Be encouraged and proud of how far you have come!

We got this. Enjoy every moment. Especially, the hardest ones. You build your crown 👑 during these times, among the hardest of days.

Me: I was soooo frustrated.  My aphasia is so bad, right now, that making calls were impossible 😔!

Me: Texting takes FOREVER!

Me : I wanted to tell the wide world to shut it!!!!

Me : I’m TOO darned frustrated to cry.

I want to stomp around and have a fit but I have physical therapy super early to beat the heat.
