There have been times, beloveds, when I wondered if I really would recover mentally/ financially from the devastation of the tornado, of losing mom, of the upheaval of moving to a state I had never lived in, of fighting life alone for the past 9 years.
There are times when I wonder still.
I am healing. Slowly. I am growing. Methodically.
I have had many setbacks. Still, the setbacks are nothing more than setups for comebacks and steps for me to succeed.
I’m doing my best to keep moving forward. It is so easy to look backward at the comfort zone we used to have, isn’t it? I keep telling myself we have too much to do. We have come too far to look behind us now.
Last night I tossed and turned in bed, wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. It seems to be so vast. Where do I go now, I keep asking God? What do I do now, I keep asking The Universe? Is what I’m doing even making a difference, I keep asking Life?
Nothing is moving. Everything is silent. The silence makes me look harder. I don’t know why. In the past, the silence would have caused me to give up in despair and disappointment.
I no longer give myself the option to quit. I don’t care what happens. I don’t care how many videos get zeros views. I don’t care how many pieces get ignored.
My only focus is in encouraging as many people as I can, starting with myself.
Be encouraged. Your labor is not in vain.

Note: I am living proof that you can keep on keeping on no matter what. You stay encouraged. You make sure you get your rest. You make sure to keep moving forward. Refuse to allow yourself to give up. I don’t care what happened. I don’t care if you have to go by yourself, just go. We got this.
Now, I have one specifically for blogging, creating TikTok and Instagram posts, paying bills, surfing YouTube. It’s my 🧠 brain phone.
I have another 📱 phone I use just as my phone phone. For those under 50, the phone could only be used to make/receive calls. I know. I know. How DID we survive in a world with no Internet, no Google, no Netflix??!…lol.
Doing this, I have been able to become more organized. I have been able to get more rest. My body knows when my phone is in the basket to just chill out.
I’m learning to use what I have. The world right now seems to be hell bent on glorifying poverty, lack, and a ‘woe is me’ mentality. Right now, playing The Victim sells really well on Youtube and Tiktok. I refuse to try to make money that way.
It breaks my heart that there is actually commentary going on where people are cheering on people for taking advantage of others. I find it sad this appears to be normalized. I refuse to make it normal to take advantage of my fellow man and woman.
You have much more than you think. Look around you. Look inside you. You have a wealth of knowledge and experience that will take you far if you allow yourself to try.
Keep trying. Even when it’s hard. I saw a notice the other day that I have posted I think for 650 some consecutive days. I’m trying to do my part.
I hear a cup of coffee calling me. Who wants a cup?

Less than 1% of content creators are successful, financially:
YouTube = 10,000 hours of content uploaded EVERY hour. 💯
MY age = 56. Geez.🧓❤️🩹
1 day = 24 hours.
60 minutes = 1 hour.
60 seconds = 1 hour.🚨
Your dream(s) = Priceless.
Knowledge = More valuable than the stars.
The sky = Not even the sky is the limit, when it comes to what you can achieve, so long as you neva give up.🥊🎤
My weight = Okay, some things are 🔏 private.😳
Doing my best to not focus on numbers. It’s not always easy. Seeing low numbers can make one feel quite low, if one is not careful. I’m trying to be careful.
It can be hard not to feel less than, when you are doing less than what you have hoped.
I tell myself to keep trying. I tell myself this everyday. Some days, it gets old. I’m tired of taking the high, long road, at times.
Be encouraged. Everything will come out in the wash.
It’s coffee time. Who is bringing snacks?

Note: There is never a good day to quit. Don’t give yourself permission to. We got too many thangs to do.
Today, I feel like a big nobody. I feel as though my dreams would never happen. The more I research on the probabilities of bringing my dreams into fruition, the more discouraged I become.
Less than 1% make it. I’ve never been in that one percent.
I feel 100 years old today. I didn’t allow my sad to run today. I made my sad take out the trash. Looking around at the devastation that still remained from last year’s tornado was really depressing.
I sat in the car and jotted some notes to some pieces I wanted to write to encourage others. Normally, sitting in my car is a joyful experience. Today, it reminded me of the day right before the tornado touchdown.
It was a beautiful day that day. I had taken myself out to eat. I had sat in my car and dreamed of my future. I had no idea that my present was about to be a true nightmare.
I’ve been trying to rebuild ever since. I find myself overwhelmed today. I don’t know why.
Okay. I really do know why. I used the last of my savings to pay next month’s rent. I have no idea what I would do about September. I don’t know what life holds for me for the rest of the year. I’m trying not to allow that to scare me.
I keep telling myself to live in the present. The present seems awfully terrified right now.
I refuse to give in to the helpless feeling that I will never make it in my dreams will never come true.
I checked on the status of the last video I posted and received no views. I tried my best not to become discouraged.
I just stopped by to let you know that you are somebody to me. I hope that means something to somebody. My try is feeling awfully discouraged today. Normally, I don’t focus on the outcome. My empty bank account says I have to. My heart says not to do that. My spirit says everything will be okay.
Everything really will be okay. Everything will work out as it is meant to. We just don’t know the outcome. Not yet.
I was feeling a bit discouraged. It seems like a year is almost over already. At first. I counted my year as a loss.
Then I reminded myself that I started my channel. I started a newsletter. I have been encouraging people every single day.
How can those things be counted as a loss?
Right now I am writing, having coffee, listening to some uplifting music and enjoying my apartment.
How can I count those things as losses?
I have been this year working on myself, getting closer to my family and friends.
How can I pronounce those things as losses?
I have been learning, in real time, that I am much more than what I have, what I own or what I do.
How can that be seen as a loss?
I have found my fight. I have learned how to be resilient. I have learned how to not allow feeling to run my life.
How can those things be considered losing?
It’s hard to see an empty bank account and not feel like a failure. I tell myself things will be okay. I say that now. I have to.
Maybe life is trying to teach me how to lose. Maybe this is how I win.
I fight on.
Keep going.
