Take your medicine, Cassandra.

I hate taking medicine.

Hate, hate, hate it!

I was not feeling well.

Take your medicine, Cassandra, my body told me.

I pouted.

I took my medicine.

Eventually, I began to feel better.

Okay, so I am a bit baby when I get sick.

As an adult, I am learning to take my medicine and keep it moving.

I have been putting pride aside and dealing with MY feelings. Yesterday, I reached out to a friend and admitted I was a bit hurt from being kicked to the curb because they were all up in their life.

It felt good to be honest. With me. With them. I want nothing coming between me and enjoying life as best as can.

I have also prioritized my time. I have been letting fam and friends know I HAVE to get to bed early and reorganize my day to have time to right, to do me, to hang with God, to enjoy coffee and sports, to enjoy phone yaks with fam and friends.

In short, I can’t ask The Universe for this, that and the other and not do MY part in living a productive and fruitful life.

I am still a bit under the weather. Am not letting that stop me. Just moving a bit slower, taking medicine, getting plenty of fluids and being about being about it.

Speaking of that…

Meal prep is calling. Laundry is hollering. Yikes!

Take care, beloveds. Be sure to take your medicine. If you have a relationship that needs to be addressed, don’t be afraid to pick up the phone. Let someone know you are missing them. Someone may be missing you! Get going now…aite?

Take care.

Cassandra
