No one knows the ending to your story.
Not even you.
The world is full of naysayers. Everywhere you turn, beloveds, you will find those who will gleefully let you know what you will never have. Countless others will be happy to let you know where you will never go.
Your life matters. Your voice matters. You are much more than just one of many. You are:
Unique.
Uniquely qualified.
Unquestionably amazing.
I’m starting over at 55. My birthday is next Sunday. Just today, I came across a report that companies won’t hire folk in their 50s. All this week I have had videos come across my feed lamenting how awful the job market is for older folk.
I told myself I am uniquely qualified. I don’t know my future. I DO know I look to the future with optimism. I’ll leave the pessimism for those too timid to believe in themselves and their dreams.
Be encouraged, beloveds. Continue to move FORWARD. Continue to stand on business. Continue to stand ten toes down.
Make life pry your dreams from your cold, dead hands. The ONLY way we lose, beloveds, is if we quit. We ain’t got no quit!
