Faith: Keep getting up!

Life:

Me: Ow!…*pout*

Life has not been playing with me. Goodness and gravy!…*stamps foot*

I have been doing my best to take things in stride. I must admit life broke my heart yesterday…*sigh*.

For a brief moment, life opened it’s bounty to me. Then, cruelty snatched it back and laughed…*sigh*.

I kept my mouth shut. I went to bed early. I told night I would bring joy to the day, tomorrow.

I did. I kept it moving. I left the hard of yesterday, with yesterday. Today is a different day. I am a different me.

It’s not easy to reframe hard things. It’s sooooooo easy to give in to the pout. It’s much too easy to give in to a victim mentality. I choose faith.

Keep getting up, beloveds. Giving up is NEVER an option. Rest as you must. Then, get back after it.

No one wants to go through adversity. No one wants to be tested. No one wants to hold themselves accountable. It saddens me how many folk want to lay around waiting for others to make their way easy…*sigh*.

Stop pouting about it and be about it. Utilize your faith.  Keep trying. Keep moving. FORWARD. Keep looking UP. Keep seeking answers. Keep on keeping on.
