I have been watching football for more than 30 years.
I have been astonished to witness several players quit on their team. During the game. After a loss. After the ball was not thrown to them enough.
How sad. Folk have forgotten what teamwork means. Society has forgotten what integrity and supporting one another means.
Folk have been supposedly ” quiet quitting” their jobs. This apparently means folk are giving little to no effort.
Phooey on that! If you don’t care for things going on with your job, TALK to someone. Work it out. If you can’t, find another and give your all.
If you don’t get the ball thrown your way, so what?! Block. Run the route. Your route running STILL affects the outcome of the play!
Don’t pick up your toys and run if you were not chosen to lead the way. Enjoy the camaraderie of the team. Make memories.
In 2025, let’s all choose to get in there and be a light.
Okay, mini rant over…lol.
I have wanted to quit many a day. Life just seemed too damnedably hard. I learned how to push through the hard. I leaned into the hard. I strengthened faith muscles fighting against the hard.
There’s more to this life than we know. Don’t quit. Hang in there a little while longer.
Have you ever considered the reason you have been placed on the sideline, was to help someone standing there? Perhaps it was meant to give you the rest you would never give yourself.
Rest. Then, get about being about it. There just ain’t no quit in us!
being about being about it,

Note: I can do it. So can you…
One step.
One step.
One step.
You are loved.
You are NOT alone.
Keep on being…YOU!

I wholeheartedly agree with not quitting on myself..but these jobs? They can suck it. Never quit on things that serve your well being. 🥰

I hear you. We have to find jobs that serve us as well. In the meantime, we still can act with integrity until we move on. I hate this quiet quitting. Folk need to be grownups and be honest. Your comment made me laugh out loud.🤣🥰
