It’s time to believe.

In me.

It’s time to fight.

For my dreams.

I’m ready.

To stand ten toes down.

I’m able.

To withstand ANY foe.

I may not win.

The outcome is not the point.

The point is to get in the arena.

The mission is giving it all I’ve got.

I have won.

Already.

In entering the arena.

I have defeated my biggest enemy.

Which was ME.

  1. I used to tell the kids that I coached that the outcome is not the key. Leaving everything you had on the field is the key. Nothing like regretting that you didn’t try and then not being able to do anything about it.

      2. How wonderful. I could ask questions for days. Did you enjoy it? What did you enjoy the most? That must have been so rewarding. I played basketball 🏀 in Jr High and high school and was actually quite good. Was a point guard.

      3. I loved taking a group of kids that had zero skills when they were young, to taking them to several championships, some without a loss. I played point guard in high school! Best position in hoops!
