What to feed your spirit to get through anxious moments.

Be encouraged, beloveds.

I just stopped ’round to check on your heart and give some things you can feed yourself to get through anxious moments:

Ask yourself WHY you are anxious – I let my nerves go haywire just by telling myself I was too old to figure things out. Once I laughed at that dumb notion, I started again.

Remember WHY you are doing what you are doing – I had let my mind wander on all the things I could not yet do. Once I focused on my why, I relaxed. I went back to enjoy simply doing me as best as I could.

My spirit has been anxious lately. There are so many negative reports out there. It has been difficult to drown them out. So much so I had to turn off the television and my phone.

I must admit it. It has been difficult standing 10 toes down on faith. I choose faith. I choose me. I choose my try. I don’t know how things will turn out. I do know that I choose to not stand on feelings of anxiousness.

Be encouraged. They will always be things that will cause us to feel anxious. We don’t have to give in to that anxiousness. There are things we can do. There are things we can try.

Keep feeding yourself positive things. Continue living in the moment.

I’m contemplating another attempt at making homemade brownies. I don’t know if the world can withstand that….lol.

We shall do great things.

believing for us all,
Cassandra

Note: When you’re finding yourself feeling anxious, get up and do something. I did laundry.

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU!

  1. It happens much more than the world will admit to. Shining a light is the only way to combat darkness. Thanks for your compassion. Doesn’t define me. Happened. There is much more to my story that is being written still. 📝

      1. I love your sense of humor and understanding. Was SA as a child so spicy images are tough for me to this day. Have been healed but still have to work on me when things pop up every now and again.

I don’t consider myself a survivor. I am a more than a conqueror. I thought I would NEVER heal from that or feel as if my body would ever be my own again. Thank God for His Love for me and Jesus sacrificing Himself on the cross so I could leave painful memories there.

I have not said much on my blog yet but have alluded to those in the unfortunate know. Will be speaking more on the subject down the line in a way that may encourage some.

Too many folk are hiding in shame and guilt from things done in the past or present. Be encouraged all. There IS healing to be found from the darkest of happenings. I love you all. If anyone wants to yak about this email me. ttnette37@yahoo.com
