Someone has to. Someone has to be willing to start. Someone has to be willing to try no matter the outcome.

Look beyond the hard.

This has been a hard year.

I’m learning how to look beyond the hard.

It’s not always easy when hard is sooooooooooooooooooo damned hard!

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ!

Life becomes so much easier when we learn how to look beyond the hard. Hard will always be hard. No getting around that fact. fact is, beloveds, I have been finding more of me beyond the hard. perhaps, this is The Universe’ whole point.

Look beyond the hard. There is just no telling what you will see behind there. I think I see some joy over there. I believe I hear some peace over there. I could have sworn I saw my dreams over there!

What footprint(s) are you leaving behind?

There are days when I wonder if the whole world has gone mad. I have been watching as complete. as complete idiots have chosen into ruin their lives by participating in yet another bit of Tik Tok foolishness. Some people were dumb enough to commit wire fraud by participating in the ‘Chase glitch’. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then thank God and keep it moving.

I cannot believe how many young people this. decided it was a good idea to basically defraud the bank out of 30, 40, $50,000 thinking that they had earned some “free money”. What was more disturbing is how people gleefully filmed themselves committing crimes.

I wondered what happened to shame. I wondered what happened to protecting the family name. When I grew up, I was raised to be careful. The family name was meant to mean something. We were taught to work hard. We were tired to care about people. We were taught that our actions mattered and had consequences.

Sing so many people acting a fool. It makes me want to keep living a life of integrity. I’m trying my best to. I’m trying my best to help my fellow man. I’m trying my best to care in a world that seems to not give a damn about anything but itself. I’m trying.

I didn’t show up here today to lecture anyone. I guess I’m just asking that we each be mindful of the footprints that we are leaving behind us. Young people are looking at us. It’s sad that we have so many adults acting a fool, the young people can’t look up to many older folk anymore.

You are worth it. Who knew?

I wanted to get some new bath towels. I have been putting it all forever. I was too cheap to get me some decent ones. Instead, I use squaggled up towels that I have been using forever.

Finally, I close my eyes and order some decent bath towels.

Who knew!?

My body was worth those bath towels. How ridiculous we are to deny ourselves some small comfort, because we don’t feel as though we are worth the extra few dollars. We are.

God has been dealing with my heart about worth. So many folk feel so unworthy. I used to feel that way. There are days when I still feel that way, because I don’t have a job yet. I wonder what my worth is to The Universe.

I’m not yet ready to work. I try to be. my heart just won’t let me. ever since the tornado my life feels like it’s at a standstill. My get up and go, has gone off and left!

My dreams are awake now. that they won’t abide being ignored. Not anymore. I don’t know what to do with these dreams. These dreams aren’t making me any money. I need money to live. I’m not sure what to do now. I used to be able to bribe my dreams. I used to tell them I will get to them later. The tornado has turned later into now. I don’t know what to do with my dreams now. I don’t know what to do with me now.

God is silent. The Universe is loud. I wish They would tell me what to do.

It’s taking everything within me not to want to go back to my old, comfortable ways. Like those old bath towels. Then, I remember the delicious feel of the new bath towels. Delicious.

I think I shall continue on with my new bath towels. How about you?

Who/what are, apart from where you live, what you drove, or how much you have or don’t have in your bank account?

Do you HAVE to be/feel attached before you can feel as though YOU matter?

Do you only matter in relation to whatever or whomever you attach yourself to?

I know these are tough questions. Blasphemous, to some. Ridiculous, to others.

It’s important, crucial even, to KNOW who you are, where you stand, what you are standing on!

As I have been working my way back to certainty, I am now only certain of ONE thing:

I have NO idea, but that’s okay.🔥❤️‍🩹♥️🥰🤗

I am loving ME. ALL of me. Warts and all. The way He loves me. It’s not always easy to love ourselves. We are so very often scolded just for wanting to be our unique selves.

Keep on being YOU, beloveds. This world needs YOU. You need to be free to express all that is within you.

I hate the tornado happened. I hate this hard. I love the me that is being formed out of the ashes.🤗🥰

I am choosing to use this terribly difficult time FOR MY GOOD. I am not wasting time lamenting what happened.

Who are you, beloveds? Don’t be afraid to ask. Don’t be afraid to find out. You may, in fact, enjoy who you see.

This does not always have to equal that.

Life is complicated. So much so that it can be hard to understand.

I used to judge life based upon outcomes. If THIS happens, it must mean THAT will follow.

If he says THIS, then THAT must be true.

If she does THIS, surely THAT will come to pass.

The more I live, beloveds, the more I have found that this does not always have to equal that.

I am learning not to judge life by it’s outcomes.

Just because a tornado swooped in, taking half the town away, does NOT mean all my dreams were taken with it.

Just because my job ended, because I was not yet ready to return, does not mean I am a failure.

Just because, the folk who I thought would stand with me, left me during my greatest need, does not mean I am unworthy of love and support.

Those things happened. Life happened. Life is often not fair.

That said, this does not always have to equal that

This world wants us to believe EVERYTHING and EVERY relationship has to be transactional. What’s more, we are told to focus on our wants and needs. To get what WE want. Sure, we can do for others, so long as it is convenient for US.

I choose not to live that way. I choose to love simply for the sake of loving. Yea, I long to be loved in return. I no longer base my worth upon who chooses to love me. Or not.

I am doing my best to love folk as God loves me: Unconditionally. Warts and all.

I hate election cycles. It’s a time where one political side sows division. It’s where half the country are told folk, who look like me, are lazy, unpatriotic, trying to take the jobs of folk who don’t look like me, and on and on.

I REFUSE to hate those who don’t look like me. It saddens me the hateful names folk are saying about them that look like me…*sigh*.

I CHOOSE to love and pray for them, still. I am sad for a world who is stupidly fighting over baubles, trinkets, homes, lands, and money instead of fighting for one another.

This does not always have to equal that, beloveds.  We can all be better. We can all DO better. We can all open our mouths and hearts to beat back the darkness.

Let’s love one another. Speaking of which: I love you. So does He.
