There are days when I wonder if the whole world has gone mad. I have been watching as complete. as complete idiots have chosen into ruin their lives by participating in yet another bit of Tik Tok foolishness. Some people were dumb enough to commit wire fraud by participating in the ‘Chase glitch’. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then thank God and keep it moving.
I cannot believe how many young people this. decided it was a good idea to basically defraud the bank out of 30, 40, $50,000 thinking that they had earned some “free money”. What was more disturbing is how people gleefully filmed themselves committing crimes.
I wondered what happened to shame. I wondered what happened to protecting the family name. When I grew up, I was raised to be careful. The family name was meant to mean something. We were taught to work hard. We were tired to care about people. We were taught that our actions mattered and had consequences.
Sing so many people acting a fool. It makes me want to keep living a life of integrity. I’m trying my best to. I’m trying my best to help my fellow man. I’m trying my best to care in a world that seems to not give a damn about anything but itself. I’m trying.
I didn’t show up here today to lecture anyone. I guess I’m just asking that we each be mindful of the footprints that we are leaving behind us. Young people are looking at us. It’s sad that we have so many adults acting a fool, the young people can’t look up to many older folk anymore.
