Why can’t we see one another, beloveds, without forever having to beat one another?
Why can’t we love one another?
Why can’t we compete with, not defeat one another?
Why can’t we hold one another?
Why can’t we champion one another?
Why can’t we support one another?
Why can’t we uplift one another?
Why can’t we sing with each other?
Why can’t we dance with each other?
Why can’t we build with one another?
I think we can.
I think I will.
I am your sister.
I love you.
I am here.

I was in Kosovo for a long time. I saw and felt the horrible prejudices among them, too. My being white was an abomination to those in the Balkans. I love and have compassion for everyone. Very few of them did. β€οΈπβ€οΈβπ©Ή

Ah, Mags. God has brought you and I together, eh? We shall be salt and pepper! You can be the pepper! I shall be the salt. Let’s shake things up for good, shall we? Asking for A Friend. π₯°β€οΈβπ©Ήβ€οΈπ€£

Mags, I was just watching ‘Something New’. It’s about a biracial couple. Actually, it’s more about a black woman and a white man trying to understand and love one another.
She told him she was tired of forever being reminded EVERY day she is black. I feel her. It IS exhausting. It’s a huge reason why I don’t speak more about being a black woman. Not because I am not good being me. It is just so damned exhausting having to watch my tone, what I wear, what I don’t wear, where I go, where I can’t go, where I can work, where I am not ‘allowed’ to work etc.
Now, I see there is a huge push to get folk of color to see ALL white folk as the enemy. And, an even bigger push to get white folk to see black folk as angry, non caring, non patriotic, non wanting to work folk who just want to be lazy and be served.
Worse, folk of other cultures are being marginalized and ALL are being lumped into the category of ‘immigrants’.
To ALL folk:
I see you. I love you. God loves us all. Even the folk who don’t believe in God. Be encouraged. Don’t let the divide claim you. Tell divide to go back to the pits of the hell it came from!β€οΈβπ©Ήβ₯οΈπ₯

β€οΈβπ©Ήβ₯οΈ. Thank you. We need one another. I am tired of all who and that are trying to pit us all against one another. Humans are beautiful. We can also be incredibly ugly. I am tired of seeing the ugly. I am doing my best to touch as many hearts as I can.
Life is much too short for all the ugliness folk are allowing in their watch. We make society what it is and shall be.
I am starting with me. I love you. Love someone. Starting with you. π₯°β₯οΈ

Ah, Vani Writes, I NEEDED you last night. Only God knew. Your ‘love you sis’ went right to a gaping wound I didn’t know was still there. Ah, God. Thank You for sending such a wonderful soul.
Thank you for being The Good Samaritan. When others passed by, you stopped. You reached out. You cared. You give me hope in a seemingly hopeless world.β€οΈβπ©Ήβ₯οΈπ₯°
