Don’t let disappointment keep you from keeping your promises to you.

I was mad.

Thoroughly hacked off.

Got some bad news.

Got some maddening news which made me madder.

I was tremendously disappointed. Something I had been looking forward to was now no longer available.

At first, I gave into negative thoughts, telling myself this was just another example of life not being fair, The Universe laughing at me, and God allowing all to do whatever.

I had made a coffee date with my twin. I told her I was too disappointed and angry to have coffee.

She said she was disappointed. She had been looking forward to our coffee date. So had I.

Then, I kicked my act right in the behind and told it to get to acting right!

I got some act right. I told sis let’s make our coffee. We had our coffee date.

I’m telling you what I told her:

Do NOT allow any disappointment to keep you from keeping your promises to yourself. Turn the disappointment into something positive/uplifting.

I turned mine into encouraging others, into encouraging sis, into encouraging myself.

Be encouraged, beloveds.

Don’t let disappointment keep you from keeping your promises to you.
