YouTube = 10,000 hours of content uploaded EVERY hour. 💯
MY age = 56. Geez.🧓❤️🩹
1 day = 24 hours.
60 minutes = 1 hour.
60 seconds = 1 hour.🚨
Your dream(s) = Priceless.
Knowledge = More valuable than the stars.
The sky = Not even the sky is the limit, when it comes to what you can achieve, so long as you neva give up.🥊🎤
My weight = Okay, some things are 🔏 private.😳
Doing my best to not focus on numbers. It’s not always easy. Seeing low numbers can make one feel quite low, if one is not careful. I’m trying to be careful.
It can be hard not to feel less than, when you are doing less than what you have hoped.
I tell myself to keep trying. I tell myself this everyday. Some days, it gets old. I’m tired of taking the high, long road, at times.
Be encouraged. Everything will come out in the wash.
It’s coffee time. Who is bringing snacks?

Note: There is never a good day to quit. Don’t give yourself permission to. We got too many thangs to do.
Today, I feel like a big nobody. I feel as though my dreams would never happen. The more I research on the probabilities of bringing my dreams into fruition, the more discouraged I become.
Less than 1% make it. I’ve never been in that one percent.
I feel 100 years old today. I didn’t allow my sad to run today. I made my sad take out the trash. Looking around at the devastation that still remained from last year’s tornado was really depressing.
I sat in the car and jotted some notes to some pieces I wanted to write to encourage others. Normally, sitting in my car is a joyful experience. Today, it reminded me of the day right before the tornado touchdown.
It was a beautiful day that day. I had taken myself out to eat. I had sat in my car and dreamed of my future. I had no idea that my present was about to be a true nightmare.
I’ve been trying to rebuild ever since. I find myself overwhelmed today. I don’t know why.
Okay. I really do know why. I used the last of my savings to pay next month’s rent. I have no idea what I would do about September. I don’t know what life holds for me for the rest of the year. I’m trying not to allow that to scare me.
I keep telling myself to live in the present. The present seems awfully terrified right now.
I refuse to give in to the helpless feeling that I will never make it in my dreams will never come true.
I checked on the status of the last video I posted and received no views. I tried my best not to become discouraged.
I just stopped by to let you know that you are somebody to me. I hope that means something to somebody. My try is feeling awfully discouraged today. Normally, I don’t focus on the outcome. My empty bank account says I have to. My heart says not to do that. My spirit says everything will be okay.
Everything really will be okay. Everything will work out as it is meant to. We just don’t know the outcome. Not yet.
I was feeling a bit discouraged. It seems like a year is almost over already. At first. I counted my year as a loss.
Then I reminded myself that I started my channel. I started a newsletter. I have been encouraging people every single day.
How can those things be counted as a loss?
Right now I am writing, having coffee, listening to some uplifting music and enjoying my apartment.
How can I count those things as losses?
I have been this year working on myself, getting closer to my family and friends.
How can I pronounce those things as losses?
I have been learning, in real time, that I am much more than what I have, what I own or what I do.
How can that be seen as a loss?
I have found my fight. I have learned how to be resilient. I have learned how to not allow feeling to run my life.
How can those things be considered losing?
It’s hard to see an empty bank account and not feel like a failure. I tell myself things will be okay. I say that now. I have to.
Maybe life is trying to teach me how to lose. Maybe this is how I win.
I fight on.
Keep going.

Specifically, my nerves have me running to the 🚽 bathroom several times today.
My stomach has given me all kinds of what in the fresh hell is THIS, as I fight with 🧓 old, comfort, lack, 😱 fear and doubt, as I work on my new YouTube channel, Substack Newsletter, while trying to find a new job at 56.
56!
Who wants to hear from an 🧓 old lady?!
Who wants to hire an 🧓 lady???!!!
How in the name of all things do I start over again, again, at 56??!!!
I STILL do not know the difference between uploading, exporting, downloading, extracting, layering, grouping, ungrouping and all the other strange ings and hoops one has to jump through in order to produce a video.
Who knew that YOU actually have to MAKE said video?! 😳
I thought there was somewhere you could go to double-click something and a high quality video or article would magically appear for all to be astounded by.
Cut me some slack, please and thanks. I have only gotten beyond the flip 📱 phone phase five years ago.
Before that, I had to have my niece do what needed done. Forget about teaching it to me! Yikes! Egads! For both our sakes, I learned to hand her the phone, and explain how I needed this thingie to do that thing, and leave her to figure out what the world I needed.
Thankfully, my niece understood how to speak ‘old lady’. I just had to tolerate multiple sighs, eye rolls and exasperated “TTs!” in order to get the job down.
You have NO idea how I mourned when she moved away.
Who will program my phone?!
Who will get my thingies to work?!
More importantly, who will take out the trash?!!!!
Sadly, I had to learn to do things for myself. Thank goodness for Google and YouTube videos. I am married to both, seeking them out when I need to do this, that, and the other thing.

Note: My nerves has been all over the place. I no longer allow them to control my life. I am using them as a sign that something needs to be tended to.
I’m doing my best to grow every single day. Some days I feel like I’ve grown a lot. Some days there seems to be more weeds than plants…lol.
I’m doing what I love. I wanna keep doing that until I leave here. In the mean time, I am praying about what I can do to. Keep the roof over my head. I must admi, I’m a bit tired of doing so. This too shall pass. I hope sooner rather than later…
I just spent an awful night, beloveds, sleeping on disappointment.
Then, I woke up, did my research and discovered some interesting facts.
YouTube uploads 30,000 hours of content. EVERY hour.😳
My unseen ten minutes was among one of those hours.
Essentially, I am a needle in a haystack. This blog, to be fair, is also but a needle in the WordPress haystack.
So, yall are my miracles. The fact you found me, was yall stepping on my needle.🥰❤️🩹🤣🤗
I am learning to see disappointment as a friend. This appointment keeps me focused. Disappointment keeps me trying. Disappointment keeps me hungry.
It’s OK to be disappointed. Being honest with ourselves about why we are disappointed is helpful. Use your disappointment for your good.
Ask yourself why were you so disappointed? If you have tried everything you know, why is that not OK? I will be glad when I started getting some wins. In the meantime. I choose to believe my effort is a win.
This year has been filled with so many disappointments I can hardly count them. Still, I have experienced plenty of joy in the midst of them. I have laughed a lot. I have cried quite a bit. I am living in real time. Are you?

Note: Get out there and live. Don’t let disappointment discourage you for too long. It comes with a territory.
I cannot tell you how many times I have cried, in the last few weeks. Enough to water my dreams for months….lol
These are precious days. We get this one go around. Don’t allow yourself to see life as nothing more than a succession of bills and hard. Life be lifing. So what?!
Your mistakes and good habits are taking you farther than you realize.
I just stopped by to encourage you and let you know. But you’re not your mistakes. Stop focusing on all the things you are not doing right.
Celebrate your try. All you can do is do all you can do. That’s it. Let that be enough.
You can do so much more than you give yourself credit for. Get out there and live.
I have made so many mistakes, trying to do some quality videos, I have had to stop several times this week. I have not let that stop me.
I think it’s time to make some more mistake-filled videos. I just stopped by to say be encouraged. Make as many mistakes as you can. It’s how we learn.
