Today mark’s six months since I had my massive stroke.
Yes, beloveds, it IS a marker. A life changing event that changed my life. FOREVER. I am no longer the same. I no longer sound the same. My facial features have also shifted. I can’t move my right hand.
I fight with a body that wants to betray me, on the daily.
Yet, that moment was NOT my tombstone. I am still here. I am STILL me. Life did not end. I can still thrive.
Yes, beloveds, there are a million things that I can no longer do. I may never do some of them.
My milestone is not my tombstone. Your milestone does not have to define or end you.
You, alone, decides how your story ends. Or, begins…lol
I miss being able to type. I am going to teach myself to type left handed.
I am going to attempt many things. Surely,I shall fall/fail, from time to time.
I am ready to shoot for other milestones. I have no idea what lies in store for me. Or, you.
Let’s do this together, eh?
Let’s endeavour to stop turning milestones into tombstones. Let the dead bury the dead. We’ve got too much living and too many thangs to do!

Note: We can. We will. We have to!
One step.
One step.
One step.
You are loved.
You are NOT alone.
Keep on being…YOU!
